“Polytex Garments Limited” has been renamed to “Esquel Sri Lanka Ltd.”

We are delighted to announce that as of Dec 29, 2018, “Polytex Garments Limited” has been renamed to “Esquel Sri Lanka Ltd.”.

Esquel became a shareholder of acquired Polytex Garments Limited in 1983. From a single factory building, we have grown into five factories in four locations in Sri Lanka today. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Esquel Group in 2018, the change of company name demonstrates our commitment to the operations in Sri Lanka and affirms the strategic position of Sri Lanka site to the Group. We will continuously invest in people and technology to uphold our leading role in Sri Lanka’s apparel’s industry.
