Chairman Marjorie Yang joined the 2nd Belt and Road Forum in Beijing

Chairman Marjorie Yang joined a HKSAR high-level delegation to Beijing to attend the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation on April 25 and April 26. Marjorie was invited to co-chair one of the thematic forums “Green Silk Road”, in which she engaged in fruitful dialogue with world-leading figures in green and sustainable development.

The 68-member delegation, led by Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam, comprised senior officials and leading figures from political, business, professional services, academia, as well as innovation and technology sectors.

Esquel Group is the only Hong Kong-based enterprise among the partners of the International Coalition for Green Development on the Belt and Road. The coalition was co-established by China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment and partners in Mainland China and overseas in 2017.
